Community Involvement is a Priority

Mann Consulting is committed to reaching out and giving back to the Denver community.  Here are a few of the organizations we are excited to support:

Denver Urban Ministries (DenUM) provides resources for persons in crisis and creates opportunities for individual and community growth and service.  Outreach services include a food and clothing bank, employment counseling, computer training, vouchers for work clothes, assistance with transportation to work, infant care and legal assistance.  John is a Past President of DenUM's Board of Directors.  For more information on DenUM, visit their website at www.denum.org.

Urban Peak's mission is to serve homeless and runaway youth. They provide a safe, caring, stable environment and assist youth ages 14-20 in permanently exiting street life. The staff and volunteers at the shelter provide street outreach, an emergency shelter, meals and hygiene products, an on-site GED program, career training, job placement and medical care. Each youth is provided intensive case management that includes contacting family and. legal guardians, developing goals for self-sufficiency and help them find housing. We, like Urban Peak, believe in the potential of every youth to contribute positively to our world. Visit their website at www.urbanpeak.org for more information on their mission or for volunteer opportunities.

Broadway Assistance Center is a large food bank and soup kitchen located on the southwest side of Denver.  John is currently serving on their Board of Directors.  The center provides for the basic needs of the surrounding community, which includes many immigrants.  In addition to operating a twice-weekly food bank and Thursday night meal service, the center also provides basic clothing, hygiene and household goods, as well as job assistance and counseling to help its clients grow to self-sufficiency.
